  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience supporting federal agency policies, meeting planning, program administration, and/or Congressional engagements. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures related to administration, management, and program support.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage comprehensive and detailed information.
  • Understanding of organizational administrative and management functions, including applicable policies, precedents, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and related advisory committee processes.
  • Ability to identify problems, develop practical solutions, and effectively support and defend recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear guidelines, procedures, and recommendations.
  • Ability to maintain accurate membership records and related advisory committee documentation.
  • Experience supporting advisory committee meeting planning, including agenda development, meeting coordination, distribution of materials, note-taking, and follow-up activities.
  • Ability to support controlled correspondence requirements, including preparation of memoranda, point papers, draft letters, briefing materials, and related correspondence.
  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for advisory committee and program activities.
  • Ability to support Coast Survey Directors' engagements, meetings, briefings, and related coordination activities. Strategic Analysis & Communication
  • Ability to understand an organization's mission, vision, capabilities, and capability gaps.
  • Ability to develop compelling narratives that communicate organizational missions, capabilities, challenges, and gaps.
  • Ability to define long-term organizational outcomes and establish incremental milestones to support organizational change.
  • Ability to translate organizational needs and priorities into clear and persuasive narrative justifications.
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze trend data and identify institutional challenges.
  • Ability to consolidate information and inputs from multiple sources into a cont, concise, and compelling narrative.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and scientific concepts into clear and concise language for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to adapt written and presentation materials to changing priorities and direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop measurable, concrete actions and recommendations to achieve desired organizational outcomes.
  • Ability to assess and communicate the quantitative impacts of funding decisions, including resource requirements, benefits, and organizational outcomes.
