Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Wireless Engineer, Strategic Technology position for our client.
Location:
Morrisville, NC Duration:
12+ months, with possibility for extension
Duties:
Research and evaluate emerging wireless technologies, including 5G/5G Advanced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite communications, UWB, and RF/antenna technologies . Support wireless technology testing, analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept initiatives. Collaborate with engineering teams, technology partners, and vendors to evaluate new connectivity solutions and industry trends. Develop technical demonstrations and recommendations supporting future product development. Assist with wireless certification, carrier approval, and regulatory requirements . Document technical findings and communicate results to technical and business stakeholders.
Skills:
Wireless communications, RF, antennas, networking, and connectivity technologies. Knowledge of cellular/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite, UWB, or IoT technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Familiarity with engineering tools, scripting, or data analysis is a plus.
Experience:
Internship, academic project, research, or professional experience in wireless engineering, RF engineering, antennas, networking, embedded systems, or IoT preferred. Experience with testing, prototyping, technology evaluation, or proof-of-concept development is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
