Job Overview Agency One Insurance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing our business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and acting as the vital link between our business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and delivering effective solutions that align with our company's strategic goals. Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and documentation analysis.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications for the development and IT teams.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including process flow diagrams, use cases, and business requirement documents.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the required specifications.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and provide project updates. Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with business process modelling and requirements gathering methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP would be considered an advantage. Benefits
