How would you contribute? This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Sr. Business Analyst our are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Sr. Business Analyst serves as the subject matter expert in enterprise business processes across Airlite Plastics' commercial and custom applications. This position sits at the intersection of business analysis, ERP functional expertise, and system configuration—encompassing requirements gathering, process design, user training, acceptance testing, and hands-on ERP administration. The Sr. Business Analyst partners with stakeholders across all divisions to document current-state processes, design future-state solutions, and drive continuous improvement within the ERP environment (IQMS/DELMIAworks) and integrated systems spanning production, warehouse management, scheduling, MRP, order processing, and financial reporting.
Essential Duties:
Serve as a subject matter expert in the business analyst role with departmental employees, and management to document business needs. Document requirements, business processes, swimlane charts, and diagrams of current business practices. Identify gaps in current workflows and business processes; gather stakeholder input to define operational objectives and output requirements. Create functional and design specifications based on business needs. Lead, define, author, and update business process documentation on designed processes. Work within project management software to prioritize and update tasks as assigned to achieve project timeline. Conducts training and user acceptance meetings with internal customers to ensure designed solution meets business needs. Design and conduct testing procedures related to designed business processes for the ERP application, as well as custom software integrations. Implements finalized designed solutions for internal and external customers. Evaluate current system usage and recommend targeted improvements that align with evolving business needs. Analyze and optimize current use of the ERP application within business needs; including newly released features applicable to an internal business unit. Actively engage in the evolution of the ERP system to enhance internal business processes. Identify process gaps and recommend controls, writing clear and actionable improved procedures. Performs and maintains system set-ups, configurations and parameter settings. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Do you have what it takes? Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required; experience with IQMS/DELMIAworks strongly preferred. Minimum five years of experience in an Analyst role preferably in manufacturing. Knowledgeable with accounting principles and the application of technical solutions. Strong organizational skills and self-motivating work ethic. Strong computer skills, including Oracle SQL query knowledge, MS Office and MS Visio (or equivalent). Strong documentation skills. Strong communication, multi-tasking, problem solving skills. Travel up to 10% may be required, primarily for inter-site visits within Airlite's operations and continuing education.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not carry direct people management responsibility. The Sr. Business Analyst leads through influence—guiding cross-functional project teams and work groups via facilitation, coaching, and subject matter expertise rather than formal authority. This role will mentor end users and peers, guide stakeholders through change initiatives, and model Airlite's core values and Airlite Way principles in interactions. P hysical
Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor the noise level may be loud.
