District Overview Kiewit Technology Group builds solutions to enable and support our company's expansive operations. Location This position will be based out of our office at 12312 Port Grace Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128.Responsibilities Business Analysis/Systems Analysis Gather, document, validate, and manage business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, research, and process analysis. Articulate requirements to the lowest level of detail needed to advance business objectives, platform governance, project success, and operational support outcomes. Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, process maps, decision criteria, and supporting documentation. Analyze current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities to improve service delivery, reduce manual work, clarify support boundaries, and improve user experience. Support roadmap initiatives such as lifecycle management, workspace ownership, enterprise reporting, governance modernization, and Microsoft 365 platform improvements. Support governance initiatives across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Groups, Forms, Planner, and related services. Assist with workspace lifecycle management, ownership reviews, remediation programs, standards alignment, and compliance efforts. Provide business-facing guidance on appropriate use of Microsoft collaboration tools and platform standards. Research platform capabilities, service changes, industry practices, governance recommendations, and solution options. Analyze platform, operational, and governance data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Support reporting and dashboard requirements, data validation, executive summaries, and decision-support materials. Translate technical or data-driven findings into practical business recommendations. Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, RACI support materials, decision trees, standard operating procedures, support models, knowledge articles, and guidance materials. Support backlog refinement, prioritization, testing, validation, implementation readiness, and continuous improvement activities. Identify and address issues that could impact fit, quality, governance alignment, user experience, or committed deliverables and escalate as needed. Communication Partner with stakeholders, platform managers, technical leads, project managers, business users, and support teams to create alignment, cohesion, and clear communication. Participate in product and project meetings, serving as the voice of stakeholders, users, platform governance, and operational support needs. Communicate project status, risks, decisions, recommendations, and business value clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop training documentation, end-user communications, knowledge articles, adoption materials, stakeholder updates, and readiness content for platform changes and governance initiatives. Support readiness planning for new standards, operational changes, reporting capabilities, and Microsoft 365 governance updates. Work cross-functionally with other product, support, compliance, and business teams to ensure decisions are aligned with technology strategy, governance standards, and user needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 0-3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, project coordination, process improvement, technology operations, or a related role. Experience gathering and documenting requirements, workflows, decisions, risks, and business procedures. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies, business processes, governance concepts, and operational support models. Ability to work through ambiguity and convert unclear business needs into clear requirements, workflows, recommendations, and deliverables. Recognize, assess, and communicate risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities that may impact deliverables or timelines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information to technical and non-technical customers and stakeholders in appropriate media and form. Ability to partner effectively with platform managers, technical leads, project managers, business users, support teams, and other stakeholders.
