Doing:
In this role, you will lead a team to drive end-to-end strategic projects for the Value business, as well as cross-BU initiatives that involve the portfolio of Value brands. Strategy projects could include innovation, partnerships, revenue growth, churn reduction, and cost transformation initiatives. You will act as a key partner and advisor to Value leadership providing thought leadership, recommendations, and driving action-oriented solutions. You will lead the strategy team to deliver objective, clear, impactful analyses, and data-based insights to inform decision making for the Value business, impacting Revenue, Subscriber growth, and EBITDA. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, and covers a broad range of issues impacting the telecom, platforms, and technology sectors.
Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning process in the Value org in close partnership with the VP Value FP&A and the VP Consumer Strategy Work with the Value President, the Value L2s (CRO, SVP Operations, CMO, AVP Base Management, VP Transformation & Strategy) to articulate the Strategy and Turnaround story for the Value organization Identify key programs to execute against the strategy and track progress against them. Support the 5-year financial plan and identify key levers that drive different scenarios and sensitivities. Identify key questions facing the Value business and drive strategic decision making. Support capital planning ensuring allocation and investments are consistent with execution of strategy. Synthesize and deliver Competitive Intelligence and Market Insights to the business. Develop structured near and long-term perspectives for Value, with a strong outside-in orientation. Deliver impact through strategic projects aligned with Value priorities, leading the team to conduct research, analysis, and recommendations. Serve as the trusted advisor to leaders across the Value business. You'll need to have: Bachelor's degree or 8 or more years of relevant work experience. (corporate strategy, scenario planning, and/or consulting from a top-tier management consulting or services company) Six or more years of experience in a leadership role. Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management Experience leading teams; a leader with proven managerial abilities; excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to coach, mentor, and train others. Proven track record of building, training, and developing a high-performing team; ability to lead and motivate the organization to achieve tactical and strategic goals in a matrix organization. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills. Must demonstrate strategic thinking, market analysis, and creative thought leadership. Excellent critical and analytical skills.
Even Better if you have:
MBA or advanced degree. Strong consulting and/or experience with corporate/BU strategy. A degree in Business, Communications or Marketing. Ability to proactively identify key business issues and drivers and develop substantive analysis to support recommendations. Experience working in a large, dynamic, complex organization, where developing strong interpersonal relationships and leading through influence are keys to success. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and the ability to bring others along as you develop your data analyses and supporting arguments.
