Business Process Engineer-Supply Chain Renown Health United States, Nevada, Reno 1155 Mill Street (Show on map) Jul 19, 2026 Position Purpose The Business Process Engineer (BPE) leads process design, standardization, and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain organization. This role drives measurable improvements in performance, productivity, and process reliability through Lean methodologies and data-driven decision-making. The BPE partners with operational, clinical, administrative, internal Supply Chain staff and vendors, to identify improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions. The role also builds organizational capability through training and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Nature and Scope The Business Process Engineer (BPE) operates across the Supply Chain organization to lead and drive process improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, standardization, and scalability. This role facilitates project-based improvement efforts, including process mapping, root cause analysis, solution design, and implementation of standardized workflows, while leveraging Lean methodologies and data-driven decision-making. The BPE also identifies opportunities to incorporate technology and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes. In addition to leading improvement initiatives, the BPE serves as a strategic advisor to Supply Chain leadership, providing insight into process performance, identifying areas of opportunity, and recommending solutions aligned with organizational goals. The role partners with operational leaders, staff, clinical stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment, adoption, and sustainability of process improvements, while supporting training and the development of a continuous improvement culture. This position operates in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment and requires the ability to influence without direct authority while managing competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
