Job Overview:

The Business Analyst will collaborate with business owners/requestors to define and document actionable criteria for data and development team. You will be responsible for preparing detailed documentation, facilitating the refinement of business needs, and ensuring all requirements align with organizational goals. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in preparing documentation to support these processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

o Develops a strong understanding of strategic business goals.o Prepares various reports and updates depending on initiatives on set cadences.o Supports team with check ins with DA/DEVS on designated critical and high priority items.o Collaborates with business owners/requestors to gather, analyze, and define project requirements.o Supports initial project and change request criteria.o Ensures clarity and completeness of criteria for effective execution by developers.o Creates and updates documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories, to support inspection calls and development efforts.o Serves as a liaison between business owners and developers to ensure seamless translation of requirements into technical solutions.o Addresses and resolve questions or ambiguities during the requirement clarification process.o Aids in refining business needs and translating them into technical requirements.o Ensure alignment of deliverables with business aims and organizational priorities.o Participates in follow-up discussions with stakeholders to address gaps or changes identified during software development life cycle processes.o Finds opportunities to improve the requirement-gathering, documentation, and handoff processes.o Proposes enhancements to streamline collaboration between business and technical teams

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experiencewill be considered.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent position• Proven experience in gathering requirements, building acceptance criteria, and preparing technical documentation

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o Strong excel knowledge and ability to perform formulas and lookups within excel.o Able to learn and use office equipment, computer; Azure Dev Ops, SQL, Tableau, SSRS, and Microsoft suite products.o Self-directingo Effective communication, teamwork, collaboration, creativity, assertiveness, and general people skillso Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) policy and stageso Exceptional writing and documentation skills, with attention to detailo Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamso Analytical mindset with critical thinking skillso Initiative-taking, initiative-taking, and organized.
