Columbus OH Job Description The client is seeking a Senior IT Finance Data Analyst to partner with regulatory reporting business stakeholders in identifying, profiling, and managing critical data elements. This role ensures that finance data pipelines and outputs are fit-for-purpose for regulatory compliance, establishing data quality rules, metadata definitions, and lineage tracking for AWS Glue and Airflow development teams. Must Have Skills 5+ years of total experience with 3-5 years of dedicated hands-on experience in Data Discovery, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Governance Proficient in querying and data profiling using PL/SQL and Python Hands-on technical experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud platforms Experience documenting Data Quality (DQ) rules and workflows for data pipeline integration ( AWS Glue & Airflow ) Familiarity with BI & Reporting tools ( Tableau, Power BI ) to guide junior analysts Knowledge of Financial/Regulatory Reporting processes and Data Governance frameworks Key Responsibilities Support the identification and management of Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data profiling, and risk-control mapping for regulatory reporting. Map metadata, business definitions, reference data, and end-to-end data lineage into enterprise governance platforms. Define and document concrete Data Quality (DQ) rules and logic for engineering teams building AWS Glue and Apache Airflow data pipelines. Perform fit-for-purpose data analysis and support adherence to enterprise Data Management & Governance policies. Collaborate closely with Chief Data & Architecture Office (CDAO), Segment Data Managers, Data Officers, and Curators. Guide junior data analysts in designing and building operational dashboards in Tableau or Power BI. Qualifications and Certifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field Strong business-outcome focus with clear written and verbal communication skills Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
