Under HCS, the Business Systems Analyst position in Bethlehem, PA supports Miller-Keystone Blood Center and HCSC Linen Services by delivering exceptional support to end users across the organization, both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while traveling to branch locations as needed. The anticipated salary for this position starts at $55,000 annually and is commensurate with experience. What you will be doing:
Provide hands-on end-user support via helpdesk, remote, and on-site assistance, including direct troubleshooting and issue resolution within defined SLAs
Independently configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications and system integrations across both regulated and non-regulated environments
Execute system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, including validation and testing
Diagnose and resolve application, data, and interface issues without reliance on external vendors whenever possible
Support and maintain critical systems including Quality Management Systems, Blood Establishment Computer Systems, CRM, ERP, and operational platforms
Perform basic database queries, data validation, and issue analysis to support troubleshooting and reporting needs
Maintain and update SharePoint and internal portals, including hands-on content management and configuration
Create and maintain technical documentation based on actual system changes and fixes performed
Develop end-user training materials based on real-world system usage
Partner with the data analytics team to identify root causes and implement technical solutions, in addition to recommendations What you will bring to the role: 3-5 years of hands-on application support and troubleshooting experience, preferably in a healthcare or regulated (GxP) environment
Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues across applications, integrations, and end-user environments
Experience with application configuration, system upgrades, and production support
Working knowledge of databases/data structures and ability to write and execute queries for troubleshooting
Strong customer service mindset with a bias toward action and resolution
Experience working in a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk) with a focus on owning issues through to completion
Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining personally accountable for delivering results
Familiarity with AI is a plus Additional information: Technical certifications or hands-on system administration experience preferred Ability to lift and carry between 50-75lbs This position reports to the Manager of Information Systems and will be based out of Bethlehem, PA location. They will be responsible for working the following schedule: The potential start time is 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility to travel locally between branches if needed.
