MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST

This position is located in Region I - Division of Resource Management. The supervisor is Shri Iyer, Branch Chief, DRM/FRB. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. GG-12, one year of specialized experience at the GG-11 level in the Federal service or equivalent in the private or public sector. GG-11 , one year of specialized experience at the GG-09 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. GG-09 , one year of specialized experience at the GG-07 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. GG-07 , one year of specialized experience at the GG-05 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has provided the candidate with the knowledge of a wide range of management and/or program analysis tools, techniques and skills to perform complex management and program analysis work; knowledge of analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure program effectiveness; and experience organizing data and preparing variety of reports. In addition, experience that has provided knowledge of the federal budget and procurement processes sufficient to understand their relationship to financial plans. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Knowledge of federal procurements statues and regulations, governing procurement to purchase in procure and/or contract for a wide variety of good and services for use by the regional staff. Knowledge of the principles, practices and processes of budget formulation and/or budget execution. Ability to analyze, evaluate, and resolve programmatic issues or problems. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
