Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst (Ariba) based in the United States. As a Business Analyst specializing in SAP Ariba, you'll support a large-scale contract data cleanup and remediation initiative for a financial services client. You'll work hands-on with Ariba contract workspaces, ensuring that critical contract information is accurate, complete, consistent, and properly structured. The role combines detailed data analysis, contract operations, quality control, and system support. You'll identify duplicates, validate metadata, resolve data issues, and implement corrections according to established standards. You'll collaborate closely with Legal and Ariba teams to investigate exceptions and ensure reliable contract information. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to the integrity and usability of a client's contract management environment. This is a fully remote opportunity suited to an analytical professional with strong SAP Ariba and contract data experience. \n Accountabilities Review SAP Ariba contract workspaces and associated contract data to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information. Validate contract metadata, including dates, statuses, naming conventions, identifiers, and supporting documentation. Review parent-child contract relationships and identify duplicate or incorrectly linked records. Recommend and implement data corrections in accordance with approved project guidelines and data standards. Support bulk data updates and uploads within SAP Ariba. Maintain detailed issue and exception logs, documenting findings, actions taken, and unresolved scenarios. Escalate ambiguous or complex data issues to the appropriate Legal, Ariba, or project stakeholders. Perform quality-control reviews to ensure corrections are accurate and data standards are applied consistently. Work closely with Legal and Ariba teams to resolve contract-data questions and support project objectives. Contribute to the overall accuracy, consistency, and usability of contract information within the Ariba environment. Requirements Hands-on professional experience working with SAP Ariba. Practical experience with Ariba Contracts and Contract Workspaces . Experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Contract Operations, Legal Operations, Procurement Operations, Contract Data Management, or a closely related function. Previous experience performing contract data cleanup, validation, migration, remediation, or similar data-quality initiatives. Strong Excel skills and demonstrated ability to review, organize, reconcile, and analyze large volumes of data. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate unclear scenarios and determine appropriate actions. Ability to consistently apply defined data standards, guidelines, and quality-control procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with Legal, Ariba, and other project stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and accountability. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Procurement, Information Management, or a related discipline. Benefits Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
