The Impact Analyst, based preferably based in a western time zone, will help ensure we stay true to our triple bottom line

  • to moderate-income (LMI) communities and other targeted populations.
The Community Impact Analyst uses this understanding and experience to support, provide recommendations and help execute strategies to enhance the Company's social responsibility efforts, including community impact, accountability and transparency, workforce, and environmental. Key Responsibilities Leads the methodology, collection, and implementation of borrower surveys. Continuously improves methodology, process, and procedure. Collect, clean, and analyze portfolio, client, and community level data to evaluate the social, economic, and demographic impact of lending and programmatic activities. Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards other interactive visualizations that track impact metrics, geographic reach, borrower demographics, and program outcomes. Produce quarterly and annual impact reports, board materials, investor updates, and regulatory submissions including but not limited to CDFI Fund certification, transaction level reporting, and Community Reinvestment Act related deliverables. Leads efforts to create and execute annual projects/borrowers/company case studies. Able to present these orally and in writing. Articulates the findings/analysis of the data to staff and other stakeholders and uses that information to improve impact. Utilizes Clearinghouse's Customer Relationship Management system, nCino, to pull reports and help create dashboards for Impact Department use, especially for compliance monitoring and reporting. Assists with grant/application writing and provides impact data/statistics and research. Work closely with Impact Department team and external consultants to develop business strategy for grants/applications, including CDFI Fund Financial Assistance Award, Capital Magnet Fund, NMTC Application, Cal IIP, OFN, and other public and private investment capital opportunities. Partner with other departments to define impact KPSs, data definitions, and reporting cadences that align with strategic priorities. Assists with initiatives and data collection in support of CDFI and B Corp recertifications. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree (minimum) in economics, public policy, finance, data analytics, statistics, social sciences, urban planning, or a related field. Two (2) to five (5) years of professional work experience in data analysis, research, impact measurement, community development, or related discipline. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, audience appropriate narratives. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders independently in a fully remote work environment. Working knowledge of Canva for creating polished infographics, one pager and external facing visual materials. Experience with CRM, loan management, or grants management systems (Salesforce, nCino) a plus. Comfort working with other data analytical tools and platforms such as SQL, Power BI, Looker, Python, or comparable analytics software.
