Obtain Contact Information Job Summary United States Suitability/Public Trust Fully remote Information Technology Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager/Business Analyst (PM/BA) to support project initiation through delivery while eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure project outcomes align with organizational goals and business needs. This position will be fully remote within the United States. Responsibilities Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. entation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Support project planning and delivery, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reports, capacity plans, and Agile documentation. Track and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate project meetings, Agile ceremonies, status updates, and cross-functional coordination. Maintain project documentation and communicate status, risks, and key metrics to leadership. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis. Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process maps. Assess current-state processes, conduct gap analyses, and recommend future-state improvements and efficiencies. Develop business cases, facilitate requirements review and approval, and ensure requirements traceability. Partner with technical teams on solution design and support UAT planning and execution. Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership. Build stakeholder relationships and facilitate alignment across competing priorities. Support communications, training, and change management during project rollouts. Mentor junior team members and business analysts as needed. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Bachelors and 5-7+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis roles (or commensurate experience) Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycles (initiation through closeout) Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Experience working in Agile (or hybrid) delivery environments Preferred Skills and Experience PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Experience with business analysis and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) CBAP or CCBA (Certified Business Analysis Professional / Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification Experience with pro...
