You will be a valued member of Cognizant's Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, quality assurance professionals, and client partners to improve processes and deliver high-value enterprise applications. In this role, you will Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and traceable delivery documentation. Facilitate discovery sessions and Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Analyze data and operational workflows using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Java, Spring Boot, .NET Core, quality assurance, and delivery teams to clarify requirements and support implementation. Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release readiness, training, and stakeholder communications. Track decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items in Jira while helping teams deliver agreed outcomes and timelines.

What you need to have to be considered 6+ Professional experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in an enterprise technology environment. Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and create user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, and functional documentation. Experience with Agile and Scrum delivery practices and requirement-management tools such as Jira. Working knowledge of data analysis using Microsoft Excel and SQL, with exposure to Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with enterprise application environments involving Java, Spring Boot, .NET Core, or related technologies. Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Experience with user acceptance testing, business validation, release communications, and end-user training.
