First PREMIER Bank About the Role Responsible for managing more complex business banking relationships and delivering customized financial solutions that support clients' growth and success. Plays a key part in business development, loan structuring, and portfolio management, with increased autonomy in credit decisions and client service. Contributes to departmental initiatives by providing input on product enhancements, pricing strategies, and operational improvements. Job Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Oversees a portfolio of more sophisticated and higher-volume business clients by understanding their evolving financial needs and delivering tailored lending and deposit solutions. Analyzes financial information to structure more complex credit requests, develop loan workout strategies when necessary, and ensure sound portfolio management with minimal management oversight. Proactively identifies and pursues new business opportunities through client referrals, prospecting, and participation in community and industry events to grow the bank's presence and revenue. Contributes to department strategy by providing recommendations on product enhancements, service offerings, pricing models, and annual planning initiatives. Independently addresses client service needs and operational concerns while supporting team-level projects and initiatives that drive process improvement and customer satisfaction. Skills and Qualifications Ability to analyze and structure complex credit requests using in-depth financial data and risk assessment tools. Strong consultative skills to deepen relationships with more complex business clients and serve as a trusted financial advisor. Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities, build a pipeline, and grow a client portfolio through strategic outreach and community involvement. Demonstrated ability to resolve client issues independently, manage loan workout plans, and contribute to strategic initiatives with sound judgment. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will also be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry is required, with a strong emphasis on credit analysis, commercial lending, or portfolio management. Demonstrated success in managing business banking relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding business development targets is preferred. Experience with complex credit structures and the ability to independently manage client needs is preferred.
