Job Description

Power BI Business Analyst We are seeking an experienced Power BI Business Analyst to support a global reporting transformation initiative. This role will serve as the primary liaison between North American business users and an international Business Intelligence team, helping drive adoption of new Power BI dashboards, coordinate user feedback, and support the transition from legacy reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong Business Analyst or Change Management background, experience supporting Business Intelligence initiatives, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is focused on user adoption, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, training support, and process improvement rather than dashboard development.
Power BI Business Analyst Compensation and Hours:
Up to $60 an hourContractMonday - Friday8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Remote with occasional onsite meetings in the Greater Nashville area
Power BI Business Analyst Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Change Manager, or similar business-facing roleExperience supporting or coordinating Business Intelligence, reporting, or Power BI rollout initiativesStrong understanding of business processes, stakeholder engagement, and requirements gatheringExperience facilitating communication between business users and technical teamsKnowledge of sales, invoicing, reporting, or business operations processes preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to support training, user adoption, and change management activitiesExperience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preferredPower BI development experience is not required
Power BI Business Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the rollout and adoption of Power BI dashboards across North American business groupsCoordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end usersServe as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the Business Intelligence development teamCapture, document, prioritize, and communicate enhancement requests and reporting issuesHelp business users transition from legacy reporting tools to Power BI dashboardsFacilitate working group meetings with sales, invoicing, and other business teamsAssist with training efforts and support train-the-trainer initiativesMonitor user engagement and identify opportunities to improve adoption and reporting effectivenessIdentify process improvement opportunities and help support organizational change initiativesProvide regular updates on project progress, user feedback, and implementation activities to stakeholders and leadershipSupport communication efforts between North American users and international development teamsHelp ensure the right reporting information is delivered to the right users at the right time during system transition efforts
