Business Analytics/Data Analyst

Description We are looking for a Business Analytics/Data Analyst to support complex data analysis initiatives in Memphis, Tennessee. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who brings strong experience with large-scale data environments, advanced SAP knowledge, and a sharp ability to uncover root causes across interconnected systems. The person in this role will translate complex data relationships into clear insights, support business decision-making, and improve reporting and analytical capabilities through hands-on investigation and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and maintain enhancements within Celonis to improve analytical performance and business visibility.
• Investigate urgent and ad hoc data questions by tracing information across SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, and downstream reporting or accounting processes.
• Examine complex SAP master data relationships, including layered and interdependent data structures, to identify inconsistencies and business impact.
• Work independently to diagnose end-to-end data issues, determine root causes, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Perform impact assessments related to proposed threshold adjustments and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Produce comparative analysis of SAP-related performance metrics, including before-and-after evaluations and trend reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to clarify reporting needs and ensure analytical outputs align with operational goals.
• Interpret data from multiple enterprise platforms to support decision-making, process visibility, and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements
• Proven experience in data analysis or business analytics within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, including exposure to

SAP FICO, SAP

Ariba, SAP Business Intelligence, and SAP Master Data Governance.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate and analyze sophisticated master data structures with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, or process-mining solutions such as Celonis.
• Ability to independently investigate data anomalies across multiple systems and explain findings in a clear, actionable manner.
• Strong analytical thinking with experience performing trend analysis, impact analysis, and metric-based evaluations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
