Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer/Business Analyst serves as the technical liaison between Interconnection Services, Network Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and key customers. This role combines deep technical expertise in datacenter infrastructure and interconnection services with strong business acumen to accelerate solution delivery, improve operational efficiency, drive automation, and resolve complex customer and infrastructure challenges. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with carrier-neutral data centers, fiber infrastructure, cross-connects, IP networking, peering, transport services, inventory management systems, and large-scale operational transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Automation & Process Improvement

•  Drive automation, AI, and data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
•  Identify systemic process gaps and implement scalable, long-term solutions.
•  Lead inventory modernization efforts and improve data quality across operational platforms.
•  Streamline provisioning and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and increase scalability. Interconnection & Datacenter Strategy
•  Evaluate and optimize interconnection architectures across global datacenter locations.
•  Analyze network, transport, and cross-connect utilization to support growth and capacity planning.
•  Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
•  Partner with Product teams to validate service designs and operational readiness. Technical Delivery & Program Leadership
•  Lead complex interconnection and datacenter infrastructure initiatives from concept through deployment.
•  Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Product, Service Delivery, and Customer Care.
•  Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
•  Manage risks, dependencies, and executive-level communications. Data Analytics & Operational Excellence
•  Analyze infrastructure, utilization, service delivery, and inventory data.
•  Develop dashboards and reporting to support executive decision-making.
•  Identify trends impacting capacity, customer experience, and operational performance.
•  Establish metrics and KPIs to measure success.

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, interconnection services, carrier operations, or datacenter infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of: Datacenter operations, Cross-connect provisioning, Fiber infrastructure, IP networking and routing and Capacity planning
• Experience managing enterprise-scale technical projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in carrier-neutral colocation or hyperscale datacenter environments.
• Experience with automation platforms, scripting, or workflow orchestration.
• PMP, CCNP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience working across global regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC).
