  • Role Summary
  • As the Dealer Strategy Consultant you will shape how dealers build and scale technology capabilities that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes. This role is ideal for a strategic, commercially minded leader who can turn enterprise priorities into practical dealer execution plans and influence senior stakeholders across a complex distribution network.
  • What You Will Do (Job Duties):
  • + Define and operationalize the dealer technology "winning recipe," including framework, structure, roles, governance, and capability expectations.

+ Partner with Dealer Sales Development to assess readiness, identify gaps, and build execution roadmaps that support near-term progress and long-term maturity.

+ Drive adoption of CI Technology Expectations through clear dealer standards, accountability models, and execution guidance.

+ Align dealer strategy across sales, service, rental, parts, and technology to support an integrated, scalable customer experience.

+ Support executive dealer engagement with clear messaging, strategy reviews, and decision-ready recommendations.

  • Builds trusted relationships with dealers and internal partners, manages expectations, and collaborates to resolve issues and advance shared goals. +
  • Strategic Thinking:
  • Connects market trends, organizational priorities, and dealer capabilities to build practical strategies and scalable execution plans.
  • Top Candidates Will Have:
  • + Experience in dealer operations, distribution strategy, commercial strategy, or technology-enabled transformation.

+ Track record supporting technology enablement, capability-building, or go-to-market initiatives across multiple markets or business units.

+ Experience engaging executive leadership and preparing strategy recommendations, reviews, or decision-ready materials.

+ Demonstrated success building, improving, or scaling frameworks that drive adoption, accountability, and consistent execution.

  • Summary Pay Range:
  • $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
