Essential Functions:
Analyzes business requirements to design and develop optimal technical solutions using database and software development tools and methodologies. Strong aptitude to identify process and operational improvement themes to support data and reporting requests. Executes data analytics models with effective and practical short- and long-term actionable solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business/Finance, or similar field required or related equivalent professional experience. Handles pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and aggressive deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency with various applications and tools, including the Microsoft Office suite of products, spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, networking, development tools/languages, Internet applications and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and OneNote. Strong attention to process improvement to ensure scale and efficiency. Strong detail orientation with high level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task, managing interruptions with multiple projects. Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative; ability to work well both independently and with others.Excellent interpersonal skills:
ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people, managing conflict and negotiating for results when needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical people. Preferred experience working in the financial services industry.
