Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst
•Asset Data & Reporting to support a large-scale asset data management and reporting environment in Vancouver, WA. This position will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and IT partners to develop reporting solutions, analyze data quality, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and support improvements to data-driven asset management capabilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex data environments, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and turning ambiguous business problems into practical reporting and analytics solutions.
What You'll Do:
Support the planning and development of a large and complex reporting environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, and coordinate reporting and analytics solutions. Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements. Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data to ensure reporting is complete, accurate, and reliable. Support the development of reports, dashboards, metrics, and other business intelligence solutions. Perform testing and validation of reporting enhancements and system upgrades. Help ensure new reporting solutions meet business requirements without negatively impacting existing processes. Provide recommendations for reporting environment enhancements and support implementation activities. Provide basic end-user training and support for reporting and analytics solutions.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Business Management, or a closely related field plus 5 years of relevant experience ; OR Associate's degree in a related field plus 7 years of relevant experience ; OR No applicable degree with 9 years of relevant experience . Progressive experience in business analysis , with increasing technical responsibility. Demonstrated experience with report design, information design, and database design . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge with: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) SharePoint design HTML Web design and content layout Hyperion Business Intelligence (BI) concepts Data quality analysis and validation Reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions
