Job Description

Position Purpose:
The Home Depot's Pro Merchandising organization exists to enable business growth from Pro customers by owning and optimizing the end-to-end category experience. Our mission is to meet or exceed the expectations set by wholesale competition, ensuring Pros can efficiently purchase all products and services to complete their projects, standard or complex, directly through The Home Depot. The Sr Business Analyst - Pro Merchandising Operations is an essential contributor to strategic business development and the execution of our Pro strategy through strong supplier engagement and assortment performance . This individual will assist with scaling current supplier capabilities, developing new Pro-focused supplier programs, and partnering with suppliers to expand and optimize capabilities and assortments in service of the Pro customer.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Supplier Value Creation:
Leverage supplier capabilities, business insights, and cross-functional partnerships to identify and execute opportunities that create measurable value for suppliers, the Pro Business, and the Pro customer. Develop scalable solutions that strengthen supplier performance and advance Pro Merchandising priorities. 25%-
Drive Assortment Productivity:
Analyze assortment, sales, customer and operational performance to identify opportunities that improve productivity and strengthen the end-to-end Pro assortment. Translate insights into actionable recommendations and partner across functions to drive execution and measure results. 25%-
Identify and Deliver Project Category Improvements:
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned project categories by evaluating customer needs, competitive gaps, and business performance. Lead initiatives that improve the category experience, expand Pro capabilities, and enable customers to complete their projects more effectively. 15%-
Provide Supplier Operational Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier operational needs within assigned categories. Partner across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Field Support and other cross-functional teams to resolve supplier escalations, address assortment and offering challenges, and remove barriers that impact supplier performance and the Pro customer experience. 10%-
Build Team Capability:
Mentor and support analysts by sharing business knowledge, analytical approaches, and best practices that strengthen team capabilities and elevate the quality of insights and recommendations.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
This role reports to the Manager - Pro Merchandising Operations. This position has 0 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
