Job Description

PURPOSE This position is responsible for maximizing the practice of efficient fuel purchase and fleet consumption through management of fuel economy. This position provides oversight and management services to the Procurement Services Division. You will manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned tasks.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Minimize fleet cost per gallon (CPG) through efficient fuel and DEF sourcing. Maximize miles per gallon (MPG) performance of fleet operators. Perform fleet audits and advise driver managers Maximize card services (Comdata) efficiency through process review and incorporation of industry best practices Identify areas for cost efficiency Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or like discipline, or 5+ years of experience specific to fuel purchasing and supplier negotiations 1+ years experience in the Transportation industry Preferred Skills 1+ years experience utilizing MS Excel in a Finance environment 1+ years experience managing 3rd party vendors 1+ years experience performing fuel audits Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.
