Job Description

The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in the Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be the purchasing agent in support of procuring the highest quality of goods at the best possible rate. What will you do? Procuring goods and services for the operation of the facility Developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior guest service by all team members Ensure compliance with the internal controls regarding procurement procedures Assist in the purchasing of operational goods and services and capital assets Assist in reviewing all purchasing documents for completeness and accuracy Vendor relations Ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures Knowledge of all promotions and events More about you At least one year of purchasing experience High school graduate or equivalent Computer and Microsoft Office skills Microsoft Office Skills should include the utilization of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables in Excel Birchstreet software knowledge/experience is preferred Excellent customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical requirements Respond to visual and aural cues Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Able to work flexible shifts Sitting for long periods of time, standing, and bending Ability to lift 50 lbs Shift details Days M-F Holidays OT as needed
