Junior Buyer - Onsite#26-06632 City of Industry, CA Onsite Contract Starts 6/29/2026 Ends 3/26/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Junior Buyer for an Onsite position with a Global Aerospace Manufacturing Company located in City of Industry, CA. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

Pay Range:

$32.00 - $42.00/hr. Under the direction of the Senior Buyer and Production Control Manager, this role is responsible for purchasing material from approved suppliers at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, and delivery. The successful candidate will ensure operational continuity by converting work orders into timely purchase orders, managing invoice processing, and ensuringpliance with all procurement procedures within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Purchase material from approved suppliers at the most favorable price Coordinate delivery and quality activities involved with the procurement of material and scrap sales Manage administrative activities associated with material procurement, including preparing POs, receiving material, and updating the MRP system Maintain thoroughmunication with internal customers (Shipping, Sales, Quality departments) Request material quotes from approved suppliers and place orders ensuringpliance with vendor LTAs Use the MRP system and materials planning spreadsheets to identify and address material shortages Manage the supplier reviews process, maintaining performance and corrective action information Manage administrative activities associated with scrap sales, including preparing lists, sending for bids, and coordinating deliveries

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalentbination of education and experience Experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/MRP systems (Oracle experience is highly preferred) Fundamental understanding of accounting principles Ability to read andprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to mon sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Desired skills: Experience in the aerospace fabrication industry Knowledge of QAD MRP system Ability to optimize purchasing based on cost, quality, on-time performance, and price Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
