Position Overview Seeking an experienced Buyer to support procurement of indirect goods and services, with a focus on software, SaaS solutions, IT/ET hardware, and related professional services for our aerospace client. This role manages sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract review, and purchase order execution while ensuring cost-effective and compliant procurement. Key Responsibilities Source and procure software, SaaS subscriptions, IT/ET hardware, and related services Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements Review software licensing and service contracts Partner with internal teams to define requirements and support project timelines Manage supplier performance and resolve purchasing issues Maintain procurement records and ensure policy compliance Track spend, supplier metrics, and cost-saving opportunities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience Experience sourcing software, SaaS, and/or IT hardware Knowledge of software licensing and subscription models Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar) Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other technical industries Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or similar procurement compliance requirements CPSM, CPM, or related certification Experience with contract lifecycle management tools Understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis Why Averro?
