Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with production, engineering, and factory operations teams to understand procurement requirements and technical specifications. Partner with pre-approved suppliers identified by engineering and operations to analyze cost, quality, lead time, and delivery risk. Execute purchases of production equipment, spare parts, industrial tools, and facility-related materials and services in accordance with company policies. Assess supplier capabilities and participate in audits alongside engineering and operational stakeholders. Lead price and term negotiations, manage payment schedules, and ensure delivery timelines align with project and production needs. Monitor and track purchase orders, proactively address delivery or quality issues, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate purchasing records and support budget tracking using the company's MRO system and other relevant tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical procurement or buying within manufacturing, industrial, or facility operations. Strong understanding of factory equipment, industrial tools, facility systems, and construction-related services. Proven skills in negotiation, supplier relationship management, and purchasing documentation. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate effectively with internal engineering teams and external suppliers. Bilingual required — fluent in English and intermediate proficiency in Mandarin.
Pay Range:
USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Attributes Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments or factory expansion projects. Familiarity with supplier auditing processes and quality assurance standards. Working knowledge of logistics, import/export requirements, or local construction compliance is a plus. Benefit at
