Days:
Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm;
Swing:
Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm;
Weekends:
Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under direct supervision of Purchasing Manager, process and follow up on Out-Process subcontract order. Work closely with suppliers, technical staff, and program management. Issue purchase orders for Out-Process subcontractors using the information provided on job travelers and instructions by Program Managers Confirm purchase orders and delivery dates Work with Receiving, Quality, Engineering and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and issues Maintain follow-up responsibility with suppliers to ensure commitment dates are held This position requires a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with a mandatory requirement for Saturday shifts and occasional overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent 2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in Contract Manufacturing industries preferred Intermediate computer and software skills, including Excel and Outlook Experience utilizing an ERP system, Epicor Vantage or SAP preferred
