Multifamily Flooring provider that is passionate about having the best team in the industry to provide the best quality installation and service to customers Seeking a motivated, career-minded, reliable individual looking for a Construction Procurement Specialist for a fast-growing company working primarily in the multi-family and commercial flooring industry, with a fast-paced environment and a phenomenal team. We are a company with a strong vision, company culture and opportunity. Currently at 3 locations, the company is looking to become a $100m plus national player in the next 6 years and needs a great reliable team to do it! Role and Responsibilities
  • Purchasing material for Hayward location
  • Daily Ordering of all products
  • Maintain data base pricing
  • Maintain proper Inventory/Stock
  • Receive materials in system
  • Process material claims
  • Process material returns
  • Follow up on credits due
  • Run/calculate usage reports
  • Researching alternate products
  • Identifying/researching cost save opportunities
  • Source direct buy opportunities
  • Strong Accounting background
  • Support Allocating as necessary
  • Research inventory variance
  • Cycle count inventory
  • Supporting sales team requests
  • Maintain supplier relationships
  • Follow up/direct logistic requirements
  • Trouble shoot/reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Support, participate, help run, quarterly and year end physical inventory
  • Identify and execute cost save opportunities Qualified Candidates will possess the following skills:
  • Positive can-do attitude, solid work ethic, punctuality, willingness to learn and good attendance are fundamental
  • Bi-lingual in English / Spanish a plus but not required.
  • Strong typing and data entry skills, Microsoft Excel and Outlook a plus
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, extremely organized, ability to prioritize multiple urgent requests, excellent communication skills, problem solver who follows issues through to resolution, and reliable attendance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous flooring experience, or knowledge a plus but not required
  • 2-3 years of purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience in construction field
  • 2-3 years of experience working with purchase orders, vendor pricing, inventory counts, cycle counts, backorders, lead times, freight charges, receiving procedures, returns, and vendor credits in the construction industry.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk warehouse daily
  • Lift up to 30-40 lbs. occasionally Full time position
  • Monday
  • Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm Hours may flex for seasonal or high demand and an occasional Saturday as necessary
Pay:
$75,000.00
  • $90,000.
