Procurement Specialist (ID #530012) Murrieta, CA Murrieta Ca 3145 $34.00/Per Hour Procurement Specialist Job Description Branch Details Procurement Specialist Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing operations, supply planning, vendor coordination, and logistics. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Demand Planner and cross-functional internal teams to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed—while maintaining strong alignment with purchasing controls and accounting compliance . This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented procurement professional who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, building vendor relationships, and keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Supply Planning & Purchasing Execution Manage and execute supply plans for internal vendors in partnership with the Demand Planner. Analyze material and supply requirements to plan purchasing activities aligned to business and production needs. Manage supply requests from multiple internal departments and ensure timely follow-through. Vendor Coordination & Order Management Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment. Schedule and coordinate orders with suppliers based on production timelines and operational demand. Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, and fulfillment accuracy; proactively address changes or risks. Logistics, Shipping & Compliance Coordinate logistics processes related to purchasing and shipments, including customs activities as needed. Oversee internal purchasing activities while ensuring adherence to accounting procedures and documentation standards. Maintain accurate purchasing records and support process consistency. Inventory & Issue Resolution Support facilities inventory management by maintaining optimal stock levels and efficient utilization of resources. Communicate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing, delivery, and inventory discrepancies. Qualifications (Required) 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field. Hands-on experience managing purchase orders, requisitions, vendor coordination, and inventory activities. Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage competing priorities. Ability to analyze purchasing requirements and coordinate orders based on business needs. High attention to detail with a track record of maintaining accurate purchasing and accounting records. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
