This role is responsible for managing the procurement of food products and ingredients, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring product availability at competitive pricing. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of purchasing experience and be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese to effectively communicate with vendors. Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and purchase food products and ingredients from domestic Monitor market trends, cost fluctuations, and supply availability to make informed purchasing decisions Ensure timely ordering and delivery of goods to meet inventory and customer demand Analyze purchasing data, cost trends, and inventory levels to optimize buying strategies Work closely with warehouse, sales, and operations teams to align purchasing with business needs Resolve issues related to quality, shortages, or shipment delays Maintain accurate records of pricing, contracts, and supplier agreement Maintain and grow relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and consistent product quality Uphold company policies and values while interacting with vendors Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner Maintain a clean and organized reception area Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or procurement (food industry strongly preferred) Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
