Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist with approximately 4 years of experience to manage procurement activities and ensure efficient purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Purchasing Module , Microsoft Office Suite , Power BI , and the complete Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle . This role partners closely with suppliers, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) , engineering, and quality teams to ensure timely material availability, inventory optimization, and compliance with procurement policies. Responsibilities Manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) , Purchase Orders (POs) , and related procurement transactions. Process PRs, maintain accurate purchasing data, and oversee the full PO lifecycle, including shipping, tracking, pricing, RMA , and on-time delivery. Build and maintain vendor/supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and contract terms. Support inventory optimization by reducing excess and obsolete inventory and managing part revisions and rework activities. Maintain procurement documentation and support continuous process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with SQEs , engineering, and quality teams to resolve procurement and material issues. Support daily purchasing operations and participate in occasional early global meetings. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree required. Approximately 4 years of procurement experience. Recent experience with SAP Purchasing Module . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , Power BI , and shared drives. Strong knowledge of the PO process , part lifecycle, and supplier management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the flexibility to support early morning meetings.
