As a Senior Procurement Specialist at Spectrum, you will lead cross-functional teams to select products and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships while partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver the best price, quality, and business terms. Your efforts will shape cost savings, minimize risk, and strengthen our business operations. How You'll Make an Impact With minimum guidance from senior team members, manage complex strategic sourcing activities in procurement consisting of soliciting bids, analyzing supplier responses, and making recommendations on supplier awards Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate analytical efforts and to define business requirements for procurement projects Lead supplier negotiations using competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis Research and develop adequate sources of supply Evaluate the financial stability of potential suppliers Performs required business analysis including total cost of ownership Provide fact-based recommendations based on competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis Continuously seek out cost savings opportunities and lead efforts to realize those savings Manages supplier performance Working Conditions Office environment What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience 2+ years of procurement experience Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Demonstrated and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Superior presentation/communication and influencing skills Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment to effectively meet deadlines and projects by using appropriate methodology and tools Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines with uncompromising ethics Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to independently assess situations and respond accordingly Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity Demonstrated project management skills and process mindset Superior knowledge and understanding of procurement or supply chain Superior knowledge on contract terms and conditions Preferred Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred #
