Job Description

Job Description A leading defense technology company specializing in high-power directed energy laser systems is seeking a Buyer to join its Supply Chain team in Longmont, CO. This individual will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services that support the development and production of advanced defense technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing purchase orders, coordinating closely with engineering, facilities, and program teams to ensure timely delivery of critical components, maintaining procurement and inventory data within the company's ERP system, and serving as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery, quality, and technical issues. This person will also support inventory management initiatives, supplier performance improvements, invoice discrepancy resolution, and supply chain KPI reporting. This role is based onsite in Longmont, CO with a 5 day/week in-office schedule. Compensation for this position ranges from $65,000-$105,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
