Company Overview Fiddleheads Food Co-op is a vibrant natural and whole food store dedicated to providing fresh, wholesome products to our community. Job Overview Grocery Coordinator (Bulk & Wellness focus) Are you an organized leader with a passion for natural products and a sharp eye for inventory? We are looking for a Grocery Coordinator to help manage our product mix, lead stocking teams, and keep our shelves thriving. This role is a perfect blend of behind-the-scenes purchasing and active, on-the-floor leadership. This role will focus more on the Bulk and Wellness sub departments.
Rate:
$18.76 - $26.30 per hour
Hours:
Up to 40 hours weekly; evenings and weekends are a must.
Job Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Trends:
Ordering products for Grocery, Wellness, and Body Care to ensure a diverse, fresh, and on-trend selection.
Team Leadership:
Leading delivery days by delegating tasks, training new staff, and providing feedback to the stocking team.
Financial Accuracy:
Managing invoices, credits, and margins while keeping our POS system and shelf tags up to date.
Merchandising:
Creating attractive displays and sales promotions to keep the department "bountiful and beautiful."
Customer Service:
Solving customer inquiries with a smile and sharing your knowledge of organic and natural products.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in purchasing, inventory control, and stocking. Experience with wellness or body care products is a big plus!
Skills:
Strong organizational habits, a calm approach to stressful situations, and the ability to work independently.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs and stay active on the sales floor.
Requirement:
Must be at least 21 years of age to handle beer purchasing.
Pay:
$18.76 - $26.30 per hour
