Procurement & Purchasing Specialist Maze Roofing is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement & Purchasing Specialist to manage material purchasing, supplier pricing, and order coordination for our growing residential roofing company. This is an ownership position. We are looking for someone who will make sure we are purchasing the right materials, at the right price, from the right suppliers — while keeping every order organized and on schedule. What You'll Do Purchase roofing materials and supplies for active projects Coordinate material orders and deliveries with our production team Maintain and monitor supplier pricing Compare pricing between vendors and negotiate better rates Review purchase orders and supplier invoices for accuracy Identify overcharges and resolve pricing discrepancies Track material returns and make sure supplier credits are received Monitor backorders and material availability Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers Look for bulk purchasing opportunities and other ways to reduce material costs Track purchasing and material costs by job Help build and improve purchasing procedures as the company grows What We're Looking For 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or construction material experience preferred Roofing or construction industry experience is a strong plus Experience working with building material suppliers is preferred Strong negotiation and communication skills Very organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working with pricing, invoices, purchase orders, and spreadsheets Excel or Google Sheets experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders at once Someone who takes ownership and looks for ways to save the company money Who Thrives Here Someone who pays attention to every dollar, catches mistakes before they become expensive, negotiates confidently with suppliers, and stays ahead of material needs instead of reacting to problems.
