Description Position Summary The Junior Buyer supports the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services required for manufacturing operations. This role works closely with suppliers, internal departments, and senior buyers to ensure cost-effective purchasing, inventory availability, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Purchase Order Management
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies
- Ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery dates Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, expedite shipments, and resolve issues
- Maintain and update supplier records, pricing, and lead times Sourcing & Cost Analysis
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Assist with RFQs, bid comparisons, and cost-saving initiatives Inventory Support
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or excess stock
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to align supply with demand Logistics & Order Tracking
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Address delays, discrepancies, or quality issues with vendors Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering, production, and finance teams to support procurement needs
- Ensure materials meet specifications and compliance standards Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor files, and pricing history
- Generate reports on purchasing activity, cost trends, and supplier performance Skills Excel, ERP, Purchasing, Procurement, NetSuite Top Skills Details Excel,ERP,Purchasing,Procurement Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred) 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain Experience in manufacturing or MRO purchasing is a plus Strong Excel and ERP system knowledge Key Skills Attention to detail & organization Vendor negotiation and communication Analytical and cost comparison skills Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously ERP/MRP systems for procurement and inventory Vendor coordination for electronic components, machined parts, and HVAC tools Exposure to ISO quality standards and compliance workflows Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hialeah, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00
