Long Term Contract Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Services Tech Level 1 Associate to support clerical, administrative, and financial operations. This role involves maintaining records, supporting financial reporting, assisting with procurement and accounts payable functions, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a process-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in data retrieval, compilation, and preparation of financial reports (budget, variance, cost tracking) Support month-end close activities and financial record maintenance Create and manage Purchase Orders with focus on commercial accuracy and risk mitigation Process work cycles and MR11 transactions Perform limited accounts payable and inventory tracking activities Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal procedures Support Jira service desk requests and workflow tracking Resolve vendor-related issues and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and Supply Chain Participate in special projects and handle additional administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required 0 5 years of experience in administrative support, finance, procurement, or clerical roles 1 2 years of experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or similar financial operations preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of procurement and accounting principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP (nice to have) Familiarity with Jira or service desk tools Process improvement mindset and problem-solving ability
