Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and optimize procurement activities while ensuring seamless purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate procurement and a strong ability to manage contracts and vendor relationships effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, including creation, monitoring, and finalization.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to company policies.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve favorable terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and vendor communications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and align them with procurement strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
  • Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers to expand sourcing options.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
