RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client seeking a Procurement Specialist in Miami, FL (Florida).Summary:
We are seeking a Buyer, Technical Projects to support procurement activities for engineering, IT, and infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for sourcing specialized goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring project procurement needs are met on time and within budget.Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for technical equipment, software, and services
- Partner with project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify procurement requirements
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and performance
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communications
- Monitor budgets and procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards
- Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities
- Support project timelines by ensuring timely acquisition of required materials and services
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and understand project lifecycles
