Purchasing Coordinator Location:
Ocala, FL Salary:
$100k-170k Our client is a luxury resort destination supporting high-end design and development projects, partnering closely with luxury residential and hospitality environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, detail-driven projects in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. This position will support high-end luxury residential and hospitality (hotel/restaurant) projects. Key Responsibilities- Process all incoming purchase requests
- Obtain vendor quotations and assist with bid analysis
- Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records
- Issue purchase orders using QuickBooks
- Track orders, invoices, and PNC credit card payments
- Maintain payment receipts for Concur reporting
- Coordinate invoice payments with Accounts Payable and Oracle systems
- Monitor order status and update project tracking documents
- Communicate regularly with warehouse teams on order arrivals
- Resolve vendor issues, including damages and returns
- Coordinate logistics with vendors, logistics teams, and receiving warehouses
- Assist with project closeout and internal bill-back processes
- Maintain office and breakroom supplies
- Answer incoming office calls Qualifications
- 4-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably within FF&E
- Experience supporting hotel, restaurant, or high-end luxury residential projects
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Additional Details
