JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for working with Buyers, Procurement Agents, and Account Payables team to help identify and correct receiving and pricing discrepancies under Procurement responsibility. Follows up with vendors on open and past due Purchase Orders (POs) to eliminate back-orders. Gathers, processes and analyzes relevant data to be used in process improvements in the Procurement and Materials Management area. The Procurement Analyst will also substitute for shoreside buyers during their absence and will be responsible for purchasing parts, materials, services, and equipment at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, and specifications.
