Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser / Vendor Relations Coordinator to join our growing metal manufacturing team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, maintaining strong vendor relationships, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring materials arrive accurately and on time to support production operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication and negotiation skills, and can efficiently manage multiple priorities while supporting daily operational needs. Responsibilities Purchase raw materials, supplies, and equipment for production and operations Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers Request quotes and negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules Create and track purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation Coordinate with accounting regarding invoices, receipts, and vendor payments Research and establish new vendor partnerships to improve pricing and efficiency Support leadership with procurement needs Qualifications Previous purchasing, procurement, or vendor management experience preferred Experience in metal manufacturing is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient ERP systems QuickBooks, Sage, or inventory software experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Benefits/Perks Competitive Pay Career Growth Opportunities Paid Time Off Health Insurance Options Supportive Team Environment Stable, Growing Company Schedule Monday - Friday Saturdays as needed Full-Time Compensation Compensation based on experience Why Join Us?
