Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to support indirect procurement operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle for indirect materials and services, with a focus on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, Engineering Technology/Information Technology (ET/IT) hardware, and aerospace-related goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and procurement compliance experience, along with the ability to support technical and operational stakeholders across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing Execute end-to-end procurement activities for indirect materials, services, COTS products, and ET/IT hardware. Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders using ERP/procurement systems. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and performance. Lead RFQ/RFP processes and conduct competitive bid analyses. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and operational value.

COTS & ET/IT

Hardware Procurement Manage procurement of commercial off-the-shelf products across multiple categories. Procure computing equipment, networking hardware, peripherals, and engineering test equipment. Partner with IT and Engineering teams to identify technical requirements and specifications. Support standardization and catalog-buying initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Aerospace Procurement & Compliance Support procurement of aerospace-related materials, components, and services. Ensure compliance with quality certifications, traceability requirements, and procurement regulations. Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams on technical and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records and support audit activities. Supplier Management Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, delivery, pricing, and invoicing. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of business needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in indirect procurement. Experience purchasing COTS products and IT/technology hardware. Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills. Experience using ERP/procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience within aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and procurement compliance requirements. Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent. Experience with strategic sourcing and category management methodologies.
