Job Description

InSync is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement & Contract Specialist to support sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract administration. This role is ideal for someone with strong procurement experience, contract management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support category strategy development by leveraging spend analytics and supplier research Track and report supplier spend, spend under management, and maverick spend Maintain accurate contract records by updating Ariba's contract management module with fully executed agreements including: Master Service Agreements (MSAs) Statements of Work (SOWs) Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Other contractually obligating documents Conduct primary and secondary research, competitive analysis, supplier evaluations, and industry benchmarking Review supplier value propositions and assess alignment with business needs Coordinate meetings and discussions with potential suppliers Assist in identifying qualified suppliers for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs Manage contract negotiations and agreements for contracts up to $250,000 Facilitate review and approval of legal documents including MSAs and SOWs Monitor contract expiration dates and notify team members of upcoming renewals and required actions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of professional procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience preferred
Required Skills:
Knowledge of sourcing principles, indirect procurement, supplier analysis, and RFP processes Understanding of financial analysis, cost analysis, business case development, and decision modeling Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and suppliers Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with SAP, Ariba, and Fieldglass is a strong plus
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
