suppliers and internal departments. Direct suppliers on a regular basis in the areas of Development and Quality to help optimize processes, address concerns, and plan for future activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supplier Improvement Projects (Internal or External Data utilized for improvement) On Site validation of Supplier Change Points, Regular reports to management New Model Project management (Support to model project leader) Summarize and track supplier progress, milestone reports, supplier change point validation Weekly management of Department EO Change assignments Monthly Management of IATF Supplier Status Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in the quality control, quality assurance, or development field in a manufacturing environment preferably in the automotive industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience. OEM or parts components supplier experience. Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills a must. Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions. Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access. Experience with SAP system preferred. Knowledge of supply chain and accounting processes and practices In depth knowledge of Quality Systems such as
PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, SIX
SIGMA, TPS, APQP, ISIR, SPC, 8D and ISO is preferred
