Starting at $75k Corporate Buyer Hilo, HI Starting at $75k-$85k Position Overview The Corporate Buyer is responsible for overseeing product purchasing and activity of the locations' buying team. Procurement & coordination: Manages buying processes and collaborates with internal teams (logistics, production, etc.) to ensure timely supply and smooth operations.
Supplier relationship management:
Builds strong partnerships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and reliable long-term supply. Market & sales alignment: Monitors market trends, analyzes sales and competition, and works with the sales team to support pricing, promotions, and product decisions. Inventory & logistics oversight: Tracks inventory, forecasts demand, and ensures transportation and delivery schedules are followed correctly. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or other related field preferred 3+ years of related experience Prior experience in the seafood industry Advanced knowledge in category management and product development.
