Conduct oneself in a way that reflects the highest standards of professional courtesy and ethical practices to people served, staff, guardians, families, and all outside contacts EP!C is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable professional to support our Accounting Department. In this role, you'll help keep our financial operations running smoothly by processing daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, entering invoices and receipts, and supporting audit complian ce . You'll also take the lead on purchasing agency supplies through approved vendors, ensuring staff have a clear and efficient process for placing and receiving orders. We're looking for someone who can balance accuracy and customer service with strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with financial information, managing vendor relationships, monitoring pricing, maintaining purchasing records, and training staff on the ordering process. Education and Experience Requirements Associate degree preferred. 1+ years of accounting experience. 1+ years of experience in a purchasing role. 1+ years of experience using accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, filters, sorting). Possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Purchasing and accounting knowledge. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms. Strong ethical conduct. Physical Requirements Frequent walking and sitting. Regular reaching, grasping, and standing. Other physical activities related to an office environment. General office equipment operates, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer. Ability to lift 50 lbs. The Accounting Clerk manages daily transactions. They provide vital clerical and administrative support to the Accounting Department to ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth financial operations. The position is also responsible for the purchasing of the agency's weekly and monthly supplies through approved vendors. This position will lead the agency purchasing program to ensure staff have a clear channel to submit and receive orders. The Purchasing Agent will ensure that the purchasing program serves the mission of EP!C while remaining fiscally responsible.
