Job Description

Objective The Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports the development and execution of category strategies for assigned spend areas, focusing on cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational support. This role works closely with Managing Directors and cross-functional teams to analyze spend, support sourcing initiatives, and ensure supply continuity across entities. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in developing category strategies aligned with procurement and entity objectives Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities Support demand planning and data-driven decision-making Support sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and bid evaluations Assist in preparing negotiation materials and participate in supplier discussions Help execute contracts and maintain procurement documentation Maintain relationships with suppliers and track performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost) Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance processes Assist in resolving supply or delivery issues in coordination with operations Track savings initiatives and procurement KPIs Maintain accurate data Support reporting for category performance Other duties as assigned Required Job Skills/ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments preferred This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands/ Essential Job Functions This position is located mostly in an office and manufacturing environment, with exposure to: Extended periods of sitting or standing. Extended and continuous use of office equipment including computers, copier, and telephone. Intermittent periods of reaching, stooping, and kneeling. Noise levels consistent with a busy office.
